Helping Your Child Cope With Worries About Death and Dying

Graphic of child looking worried while thinking about death
The subject of death and dying is one that many children worry about, in fact it even has a name . . . thanatophobia.
As the pandemic unfolded, I know many children who weren't particularly worried about or even aware of death suddenly became super aware of it and quite worried - understandably - and for those children who already had concerns, of course Covid-19 has made them feel much worse.
In this week's video I share some suggestions about how to help your child if this is something that they are anxious about now, and I talk about helping them cope with worrying about bad things happening generally too.
I hope its helpful.
Warmest wishes
