If your child is experiencing anxiety, or angry meltdowns, or perfectionism or low mood, it could be that shame - a really big feeling to manage - could be behind it.
In today's video I explore shame in depth and look at the impact it can have on children and young people. There can be many ways that they can made to feel uncomfortable and made to feel they don't measure up to parent's, teacher's, peer group's and society's expectations.
I hope the video will give you some ideas on how to help your child overcome any shame they may be feeling, and that you find it helpful.
Warmest wishes
