Bullying can have a devastating effect on a child - not just at the time, but potentially for the rest of their lives.

Being the target of a bully can bring up lots of big, difficult feelings for a child causing them to experience feelings like fear and anxiety, and sometimes shame and/or embarrassment too. Without the right support children who are bullied can lose confidence in themselves, and struggle with longer term anxiety and even depression.

In today's video, which is the first in a 4-part series on the subject of bullying, I share the tell tale signs that indicate a child is being bullied so you can be prepared to spot them and take action.

Later in the series we'll look the affects of bullying and how you can help your child.

Warmest wishes
