Helping your child cope when a parent is unreliable about contact

If you have an ex who is unreliable about contact, and frequently cancels at the last minute or simply doesn't show up at all, today's video is for you.
This issue is one that many children I have worked with struggle with, and it can give rise to many big, difficult feelings for them, and damage their self-esteem. Its also very upsetting for you having to witness your child's distress, and will no doubt make you feel angry and disappointed.
I hope the suggestions I share in the video will be helpful to you and your child.
Warmest wishes
