Helping Children Cope With Change: Part Four - Separation & Divorce

Nov 26, 2021
The separation or divorce of their parents can bring lots of changes to a child's life, most of which are unwelcome and can be very stressful for them.
That being said, I do believe it is possible for parents to minimise the stress and disruption by paying attention to the many ways they can modify their own behaviour and try and put their children's need first.
As someone who divorced when my children were very young, I know from personal experience how challenging this can be! But I also know that it really is worth trying as it can make all the difference to a child.
